Part of Doug Walter's expertise is in accessibility, universal design, and aging in place remodeling. Doug has completed a number of pro bono accessible remodels for deserving clients from the Home Builders Foundation, Easter Seals Handicamp, Jewish Family Service, and Habitat for Humanity.  He holds an ICC (International Code Council) certificate as Accessibility Inspector, helped write the CAPS (Certified Aging In Place Specialist) curriculum for NAHB.

Doug has to be one of the nicest, most gracious people we have ever met. He took everyone’s views into consideration, gave his opinions, and made suggestions we had not even thought of.. There was not one time that a phone call was not returned, a question left unanswered, or a concern was not addressed.
